Here’s a taste of what has been happening inside the walls of the Arije home.

Think about it this way, your brain is like your amazing mom who worries too much. Of course you love her, but she worries about you 24/7.

Maybe its time to stop listening to your brain and gravitate more towards what your soul wants? Maybe its time to be unrealistic for a change?

Last year, I had a moment of conscious awakening where my soul said: my finance job isn’t doing anything for the world. Maybe I should consider following my dreams or something. But my brain said: Hold up! How are you going to pay your mortgage?! You have bills to pay! Grow up!

A year later — here I am. I quit my job, and am working my ass off doing what I love to do. It took a whole damn year to build up the courage to stand up to my brain. My soul told me something completely different from my brain. Something more personal, something more urgent and way deeper.

I’m certain that we’d all be a bit more human if we gave more focus to what our soul is telling us. There are truths inside of us that we’ve forgotten about because we are so distracted by our rational brains.

Vulnerability is both the core of difficult emotions like fear, grief, and disappointment, and the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, empathy, innovation, and creativity. When we started YouTube, it wasn’t about winning or losing. It was about courage. We were scared. We constantly thought we weren’t enough for the platform. Putting our life on display for people to watch put us at a greater risk of getting criticized and hurt. In hindsight, the best decision we made as a family was to be vulnerable and document our lives. Our vulnerability led to so many new relationships with you all. We showcased our love that had been shunned for so many years, we spoke to you all about our struggles conceiving our children, us losing our mother - and it was so healing for us. We challenge you to be a little more vulnerable in your lives and watch the magic unfold.
